amado1Last night around 9 p.m. I got this idea for a TNG fic that totally gripped me, and between 9 p.m.-3 a.m. I wrote 13,000 words for it!
At 3 a.m. I stalled out, spent an hour fucking around on my phone, and went to bed. I woke up today and knocked out the rest of the fic in a few hours. It's up now!
To Touch the Future -- a gen, post-Dominion War fic starring an eleven-year-old Cardassian refugee living in Valdez, Alaska. His new history teacher is thin, heavily scarred, and supposedly ex-Starfleet. His name is Mr. Riker.
It came out to about 17,700 words! I feel great. I haven't written this much in one day in ages.
