TNG: the modala imperative
Last night I read this four-part TNG/TOS comic crossover by Peter David which ... standard 90s comic fare, I read the first two issues in full and then just started skimming. But the beach scene at the very beginning cracked me up, and I loved the Spock/McCoy moments throughout.
Look at that! Right off the bat! (Riker does NOT have enough body hair)
How come Beverly gets a full-cover body suit but Riker's in a speedo??

And then, there were many Star Trek merch ads sprinkled throughout, but I liked this one, maybe because I have the same tapes (still!) and remember seeing this as a kid:
