Yeah, this is very real. I get a lot of enjoyment out of media I find Bad a lot of the time, but it can be such a delicate balance between "bad in a way that's fun" and "bad in a way that's just boring." And by the former I don't even mean so-bad-it's-good necessarily, it can just be interesting to see why things don't work in a way that's easier to tease out than why good pieces of art do work. But sometimes it's just... interminable with no redeeming entertainment value, lol.
