Public Domain Day is almost here!

I think I'll celebrate by writing some gay as hell Sherlock Holmes stories. Here's the post from Duke explaining lots of interesting stuff. If you're like me you probably wondered "How the hell is Sherlock Holmes NOT in the public domain, if Rohase Piercy and David Gerrold have already published gay Holmes stories?" This article answers that question pretty neatly. It also talks a bit about silent movies and the way copyright law contributed to so many great films being lost.
