aww man Gay was on my to read list. I hadn't really read about her political views too much, i just got curious about her memoir cause it popped up on my to read list - i think i might rethink that now. Just doesn't sound like the type of thing to appeal to me.
The lack of diverse stories here tho...yuck. I mean, I get it somewhat - to each their own and it's nice for a group of people to find a piece of media that represents their experiences. It's just that this one specific group seems to get the most representation in media...Idk. If it was advertised as attempting to present the perspective of as many rape victims then that would be a bit yucky.
