I've seen Multiple Maniacs (John Waters cracks me up!), Anatomy of a Fall, Wong Foo, Everything Everywhere, Dog Day Afternoon and Frankenstein. Liked all of them except I hated the way Dr. Frankenstein treated his fiancee, locking her in her room so the monster can get her and blowing cigarette smoke in her face. What the hell was his problem?

I will be honest. I enjoyed Kramer versus Kramer. It was nicely done for a movie of that decade.

I read recently that James Whale wanted Frankenstein to die at the end and was forced to reshoot with a “happy” ending where he and Elizabeth get married… it’s totally tonally wrong. Elizabeth does NOT deserve to end up with that man 💀
